So for the first time since middle school, I had a fun Halloween. Seriously I never did anything for Halloween since I stopped trick or treating and that was back in middle school.
I had a blast partying around northgate, hanging with friends, the whole 9. Amazing. |

So Im leaving tomorrow on vacation to the Grand Caymans. Its been kind of rough getting up to this point with my friend, who will be arriving a day late due to his time frame and lazyness. Also we just noticed the temporary nitrox cards my sister and I got have an EXP date of March 31, 2009. So now we have that to deal with too. WHILE WE ARE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY. Lord a mess. I just need to get there and get into vacation mode.
Finagled some stuff to get into a better housing situation for next year, Thank you!!!
Bad thing is im paranoid about my stuff now and kind of worried about how my parents are going to take it. They will appreciate it in the long run Im assured but I think they are going to hate the getting to move in part. Luckily things will work out and it shouldn't cost me much in the transition phase.
Im going to try and update as much as I can when I am there. Thing is we will NOT have the internet in the house we are in. Weird if you ask me.
Well....vacation tomorrow! Hope it all goes well! :D

So sometimes people who smoke pot are too fucking stupid to see things clearly.
To someone on the mighty internet who posted a picture of themselves with a bong, I made a Michael Phelps joke. All I said was "Michael Phelps XD XD XD" kind of laughing to myself about how people will post pictures of themselves with illegal stuff and act as though its normal. They were all "The dude got busted for doing something 75% of the population does, not funny. Not fucking funny at all"
Ok. Lets look at this. Despite the fact you are obviously a very heavy user, the drug is still illegal. No matter what I think, and for that matter its kinda stupid its illegal, or what you or anyone else thinks, its legality is the same. So lets say it WASNT illegal, lets take that argument straight out. Well when someone famous, especially someone like an 8 gold medal winner gets a photo taken of him, lets say trashed at some party, its pretty much frowned upon. When famous people are seen doing any form of deviant act, it can ruin them, whether 75% of the people do it or not. Also wtf, 75% of people smoke pot. What fucking world do you live in? Maybe in your STATE but not all over. Thirdly, even with your use of the drug and the fact I made a joke mocking the situation, where you posted a photo of yourself and your huge bong, you taking it like that, that seriously, is ridiculous. Sure you obviously love the drug, but what the shit, if you cant laugh at it or yourself, you got an issue. Sure it fucked Phelps over, BIGTIME, but with his situation and wanting to be a role model for youth and others around the world, its unacceptable. Sure HE didnt post that picture, but it got out there, shame on his friends for that. But he got over it, and its stupid to get offended at such a minor joke.
I just dont get how sometimes pot smokers can be so angrily defensive over the drug. I dont even think it should be illegal. If today, after all these years of use and study, we were to decide how to treat the plant, Im sure it would be legal and controlled by the Gov like cigs. Seriously...
Just wanted to blab that out, because quite frankly, it was stupid as shit. Its stupid Im posting this. And Phelps still has his 8 medals. He just probably chooses his friends more wisely

But honestly, I wish more people understood what choices really mean, and the pain that people who do choose can go through, despite what some may think. Ya know....sometimes I see board moderators and I think that they really do go on power trips...
So many times have I seen one in particular ban people (now mind you not always permanently) for logically saying something that they, the mod, do not agree with.
Seriously. What the fucking shit. Sometimes peoples power on the net is a little too...intoxicating I think, gets to their heads. So whats with these can mods who just think "well I don't agree with you, you are stupid *ban*" Now it didn't happen to me this time, its happened before though. I just find it rather pathetic that sometimes mods can just go nuts and have the ability to weed out those who disagree with what they say, polite manner or not. Worst is when the mod starts acting like a little kid yet turns around and will boot someone when their response is on par, or above.

So I just read about the movie in the latest edition of WIRED. So far I’m really excited and it was neat to hear about what went on. One thing is troubling me though. They constantly mentioned how they were going to have trouble making the movie a good movie. Anyone would. The book is simply perfect as a comic. I have read the book and purchased a hardback version myself. I simply loved that story. I’m also going to go look into midnight release tickets for the movie. As one would guess I’m VERY excited. The thing is I want them to not skip on the story. Reading the article brought up a fear that became reality. It says that directors didn’t like how the finished product was over 3 hours long (my first thought was “Bad ass it’s going to be long; that means its going to cover it all!”) Well that thought was smashed when they said that the actual final movie is a little over 2.5 hours long. Well fuck, what was cut out? Well, they won’t tell you. So that leaves a whole shitload to debate. The next worrying thing was that they said that the ending has been changed….Oh boy. For any of you who have read Watchmen you know the ending. Guess what, its not there. They say (and there are no spoilers here) “we still end the film in a really gruesome way.” This has me worried. I really liked the ending. I am going to bet they still keep the basic premises, again if you read the book you should get what I’m saying. I don’t think he will alter the whole idea behind the scandal and the offing of the super heroes, he can’t do that, that would make the story crap and to me the movie would be an utter failure. I’m just very worried since adapting the ending could spell a massive buildup of “wow this movie is great!” and then seeing a changed ending and having all of your fun smashed on the sticky popcorn covered floor. I won’t lie; I’m a little worried now about what is to come. I’m hoping it’s not a huge WTF. I doubt it will be but you never know. To be honest from what Iv seen, its only gotten me more excited! Seeing the comic come to life will be amazing. For those who loved TDK this should be one you should love. On a last note if you read this and haven’t read the comic…Seriously, no joke and no BS here, go buy it or go borrow it. Fuck go sit at a Starbucks in a bookstore and read the thing. The book is always better and this book is amazing. You really will be glad you read it.

You know, I know why some people really get that way. Im sorta doing that again with UO. I keep playing...Im definantly terminating the acct when I go back to school. Ill defininantly put it on the "not to be palyed" status. I dont think I would be playing it up there, since I would have to get out my PC laptop, but I just dont want to be tempted. While its fun to play, its getting to the point to where again Im like "why do I play this?". Luckily Im not playing more than...3 hrs a day id say. Which for an MMO isnt bad at all...just kinda laaaame
I think I need to get back to school XD. Least that keeps me busy. I just am going to hate being with my idiot of a room mate again....lame

Its great so far. Iv only played on Mario strikers but holy fucking shit....
Never have I seen people play games like this. They all seem to exploit something. Its not like cheating, but they all find crafty little ways to get things done. In strikers, I learned basically who to have on a team. I also have picked up several tricks that I never would have thought of...Such as bouncing the ball off the back of the opposing teams wall in order to reset it in the middle where the goalie is not...I just went against someone who used that and used a hammer bro to ball hog the entire time...he even scored ALL of my goals...just to show his skill. I have never seen better gamers in such a quantity that on the Wii Connect. XBL with Halo, Call of Duty 4, and the like, never have I seen as crafty people.
I also seem to notice that somehow they are able to do things that I cant, they move a lot faster at times, which might just be system lag, and somehow pull off little tricks I'm unable to explain. I relate it to SSBM where people exploited things like Wave Dashing to win. Basically its the same way, enough skill to go 0 DMG and destroy your opponent.
Quite frankly, I'm pissed off though, I'm not used to loosing in such a fashion. I'm 4W and 6L now on there. I have never been so frustrated at an online game...quite frankly, I'm being out skilled. I was no god at halo by any standards, but I have never lost like this. :/ Time for a feast of humility XD
BTW if you got a Wii, send me your code. My GF is on it now so I cant look mine up
has anyone else had this happen? Brawl will be so bad online if its like this XD Way more skilled players on Wii
